Fifth Street block club (FSBC) is hosting its annual Breaking Down Barriers, Building Bridges Event:
September 3, 2019 at 6pm – 8pm.
(FSBC) has collaborated with Councilman Michael Patterson, The Sanctuary Church, Scotts II food stand, DJ Sight of WDKX and Rochester Public Market to present a family friendly event for the Northeast community in the City of Rochester.
The goal of the event is to bring members of the community together in a safe environment. Fifth Street block club (FSBC) would like to provide an opportunity for people to learn about resources that are available to assist them.
In addition, (FSBC) goal is to introduce them to their public servants such as council members, legislators, police and fire personnel in their community. Additionally, we would like to provide a platform for other local organizations and businesses to reach out to the community in a safe environment.
FSBC will have Activities for the children. The activities that will be included are: Book-bag giveaways, Rec on the Move, Fire Safety House, Bounce house and Line dancing with Brianna Cromartie’s fitness.
Food also will be (FSBC) are asking local businesses to be open for those that attend to purchase food and beverages during the event.
If you’re interested in grabbing something to eat during the event then grab a something to eat at Scott’s II.
Finally, (FSBC) are looking forward to working with each of local organizations in the Northeast Quadrant of the City of Rochester.
