Tunya Griffin has been invited by Maylor Lovely Warren to attend a Community Appreciation Ceremony in recognition of her “contributions to the City and citizens of Rochester” through various community improvement, neighborhood development and public service projects. Dr. Griffin, who often involved her sisters in various initiatives supporting the city’s Marketview Heights neighborhood and Fifth Street Block Club, will attend the event with her siblings.
Despite seeing the Flower City go through such a rough patch, Dr. Griffin is committed to continuing her work of building a stronger, more resilient community by bringing city residents together with the common goal of making Rochester a better place for everyone. We at Black Women’s Voices and Dr. Griffin entire community engagement team thank Mayor Warren for the opportunity to work so closely with her office over the years.
The event will be held on Wednesday, December 1st at the City Hall Atrium, from 1-3 p.m.
