CaTyra is the proud founder and CEO of the accredited MWBE editing business Love for Words.
She began composing poetry and song lyrics in middle school, and her love of reading and writing has grown over the years.
CaTyra established Literacy Love Scholarship for high school students in Rochester, NY. In order to inspire, support, and celebrate literary creatives working in the publishing sector, she started the international podcast Editor Knows Best. National Black Writers Day was also created by CaTyra; the first celebration will take place on May 4, 2023.
CaTyra’s goals include empowering people, advancing literacy, and seeing that her most ambitious aspirations come true.
